Clear debt signals. Less noise.

TechieDebt rates technology debt from 1 to 10 — lower is better. We filter the noise so you get a score you can read, act on, and compare over time.

What the score reflects

Dependencies

How current and orderly your package stack looks — aging or messy inventories push the score up.

Maintenance

How easy the project looks to keep consistent — weak project hygiene adds debt.

Compatibility

How current your declared platform targets look — stale targets add debt.

Stacks we can assess

If a repository uses one of these families, we can usually score it.

  • JavaScript / TypeScript
  • Python
  • Rust
  • Go
  • Ruby
  • Java / Kotlin
  • .NET

  • Swift / Apple
  • Elixir
